Terms of Service

Version: 2026-03-21. This document defines the rules for using the service, including payments, the credit system, and refunds.

1. Service Provider and General Provisions

  • Service Provider: Tomasz Golaszewski.
  • Contact: tomasz.golaszewski@outlook.com.
  • These Terms define the rules for using the Cavi application.
  • Acceptance of these Terms is voluntary but required to use account features.

2. Nature of the Service

  • The application assists with creating and tailoring resumes and cover letters.
  • Privacy-first model: user content is stored primarily on the user's own Google Drive (appDataFolder).
  • Server-side processing is temporary, generally in RAM, only to the extent required to fulfill the request.

3. Account and Authentication

  • Authentication is handled via Google OAuth.
  • The user is responsible for the security of their Google account and granted OAuth permissions.
  • The user should use up-to-date software and protect access credentials from third parties.

4. User Rights and Obligations

  • The user is responsible for the legality and accuracy of content uploaded to the application.
  • The user may not use the service for unlawful activities, violation of personal rights, or intellectual property infringement.
  • The user retains rights to their content and grants only the necessary consent for processing to deliver the service.

5. Prohibited Activities

  • Uploading unlawful, offensive, or third-party rights-infringing content.
  • Attempting to bypass security measures, automated abuse, and attacks on infrastructure.
  • Impersonating others or providing false data material to the service.

6. Liability and Limitations

  • AI results are advisory and require user verification.
  • The Service Provider does not guarantee employment.
  • The Service Provider is not liable for hiring decisions made by employers or for consequences of using content without user verification.
  • The Service Provider may temporarily limit the service for technical, security, or maintenance reasons.

7. Account and Data Deletion

  • The user can delete their account and data via: Settings -> Danger Zone -> Delete Account.
  • The operation requires typing the confirmation token DELETE and is irreversible.
  • Deletion covers account data in Cavi and associated resources (including metadata and public profile links) per the current application architecture.

8. Complaints and Contact

  • Complaints and reports should be sent to: tomasz.golaszewski@outlook.com.
  • Please include a description of the issue, the date, and information to identify your account.
  • The Service Provider responds within a reasonable timeframe, no later than 14 business days.

9. Changes to the Terms

  • The Service Provider may update these Terms due to legal or technical changes.
  • The updated version is published on this page with the effective date.
  • Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Credit System and Pricing

  • Minimum top-up amount is 25 PLN (250 credits).
  • New users receive 50 welcome credits (bonus).
  • Each paid AI operation has a fixed credit cost, displayed next to the action button.

  • Credits are not redeemable for cash.

11. Payments and Refunds (Refund Policy)

  • Credit top-up payments are one-time purchases processed via an external provider (Paddle).
  • Due to the digital nature of the service (immediate access to tools and generated content), by consenting to service delivery before the 14-day withdrawal period, the user waives the statutory right to withdraw from the distance contract.
  • In justified technical cases (application malfunction preventing use of a purchased feature), the user may request a refund within 14 days of the transaction.
  • Canceling a recurring subscription prevents future charges but does not entitle a refund for the current paid period.
  • Refund requests should be directed to: tomasz.golaszewski@outlook.com.

12. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by Polish law, subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions.
  • For matters not covered herein, applicable laws apply, including consumer protection regulations.
